For Fleets Using NAV PRO
NAV PRO allows dispatchers and fleet managers to send turn-by-turn routes directly to drivers using the Trucker Path Driver App. This ensures drivers receive the correct destination and routing every time.
How do I send a route to a driver?
Open NAV PRO
Click the Map tab
Search for a location or select a POI
Click Create Route
Review the route
Click Send to Driver
Select a single driver
Tap Send
Note: Routes can only be sent to one driver at a time.
What does the driver see when I send a route?
Drivers receive:
A push notification
The route inside the Trips tab
Any attached documents (PDFs, images, instructions, etc.)

Can I send a route to multiple drivers at once?
❌ No.
Routes must be sent to one driver at a time.
If multiple drivers need the same route, repeat the process for each driver.
Can I include instructions or documents?
You cannot add or edit notes directly in a route.
However, you can attach documents such as:
Delivery instructions
Dock or gate diagrams
Customer site maps
Photos or PDFs with special info
Drivers will see all attached documents inside the Trips tab.
How do I know the route was sent?
NAV PRO shows:
Which driver the route was sent to
The date and time it was sent
If the driver is offline, the route will appear once they reconnect.
How do I send messages to a driver? (In-App Messaging)
NAV PRO includes a built-in messaging feature that allows dispatchers to send text-based messages directly to drivers.
To send a message:
Open NAV PRO
Look at the top-right corner of the screen
Click the Message icon (next to More)
Select the driver you want to message
Type your message
Click Send
What drivers see:
Drivers receive:
A message notification
The message inside the Messages section of the Driver App
Drivers can also reply directly through the app, creating two-way communication between the fleet and the driver.
What if the driver cannot find the route?
Have the driver:
Open the Trucker Path Driver App
Tap the Trips tab
Pull down to refresh
Confirm they are logged in with the fleet-assigned email
Ensure the app is updated
Check their network connection
If it still doesn't appear, resend the route from NAV PRO.
Can I edit a route after sending it?
Edits cannot be made to a route once it is sent.
To update it:
Create a new route
Attach any documents needed
Send the updated route to the driver
You may label the attached document “Updated Route” for clarity.
Can I resend a route?
Yes.
Open the route in NAV PRO → Click on the Map tab → Select the trip from the left-hand side of the screen → duplicate the route → tap Send to Driver → choose the driver again from the list.
What types of routes can be sent?
NAV PRO supports:
Single-stop routes
Multi-stop routes
Routes created from Custom POIs
Delivery/pickup stop sequences
Routes with avoided areas
All routes use the driver’s truck settings and routing profile.
Does NAV PRO use truck-safe routing?
Yes.
Every route automatically uses:
The driver’s routing profile
Truck dimensions
Avoid Areas (if created by your fleet)
Custom POIs
Truck-friendly navigation rules
Why send routes through NAV PRO?
Sending routes helps:
Drivers follow the exact planned route
Prevent wrong entrances or missed docks
Reduce confusion and back-and-forth calls
Ensure consistency across all drivers
Support new or unfamiliar drivers
