Trucker Path Driver App Tutorial

For Drivers Using the Trucker Path Mobile App

The Trucker Path Driver App helps professional drivers find truck-friendly routes, parking, fuel, weigh stations, and custom fleet locations. This guide answers the most common questions and helps you get started quickly.


Getting Started

How do I log into the Trucker Path Driver App?

  1. Open the app
  2. Enter your email
  3. Tap Forgot Password to create or reset your password
  4. Enter the verification code sent to your email
  5. Set your password and log in

If your fleet uses NAV PRO, your login email must match the email added by your fleet administrator.


How do I set up my truck information?

After planning a route:

  1. Tap More (bottom-left corner)
  2. Tap Trip Settings
  3. Click Manage under Optimize Routing For Trucks
  4. Select or Enter your truck’s:
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Length
    • Hazmat type (if applicable)
  5. Click the back arrow to save your settings

Be sure to enter accurate truck details ensure proper truck-safe routing.


Navigation & Trips

How do I start navigation?

  1. Tap Search

  2. Enter an address or choose a POI

  3. Tap the destination

  4. Tap Truck Route

  5. Tap Go


Where do I find routes sent by my fleet?

If your fleet uses NAV PRO to dispatch routes, you will find them in:

Trips tab → Planned Tab

Each trip includes:

  • Stops
  • Instructions or notes (if provided as attachments)
  • A button to begin navigation

Why is my route different from another driver’s?

Common reasons:

  • Different truck settings
  • Missing or incorrect truck dimensions
  • Offline maps not updated
  • Custom POIs or Avoid Areas applied by your fleet

How do I find truck stops, fuel, parking, or rest areas?

Tap Nearby to see:

  • Truck stops

  • Parking

  • Fuel prices

  • Weigh stations

  • Rest areas

You can also filter results to find exactly what you need.


What are Custom POIs and where do I find them?

Custom POIs are locations created by your fleet such as:

  • Truck gates

  • Docks

  • Yards

  • Customer entrances

  • Company locations

There is no separate menu for custom POIs.


They will automatically appear on your map once your fleet deploys them.

To use them:

  1. Pan or zoom the map to find the POI
  2. Tap the custom location
  3. Tap Navigate

App Features

What is the parking prediction feature?

The app displays green/yellow/red parking indicators based on historical data to help you plan ahead.


Can I see weigh stations ahead?

Yes. Each weigh station includes up-to-date user-reported open/closed status when available.


How do I download offline maps?

  1. Tap More

  2. Select Offline Maps

  3. Choose states or regions

  4. Download maps

This ensures navigation works even with weak or no cell service.


Troubleshooting

The app says “No Signal” — What should I do?

Try the following:

  • Make sure Airplane Mode is off

  • Confirm cellular data is enabled

  • Restart your device

  • Ensure Location Permissions = Allow All the Time

  • Disable battery optimization for Trucker Path

  • Update offline maps


Navigation is taking me to the wrong location

Check:

  • Your truck dimensions

  • Correct destination selection

  • Internet or GPS stability

  • Fleet-added Custom POIs

If your fleet dispatches routes, ensure you’re starting navigation from the Trips tab.


I can’t see the trip my fleet sent me

Make sure:

  • You are logged in with the correct fleet email

  • You refreshed the Trips tab

  • Your app is up to date

  • You have a stable internet connection

If still missing, ask your fleet to resend the trip.
