In this article, you'll learn how to add routing profiles to your account, ensuring drivers follow directions based on specific vehicle dimensions.
Step 1: Begin by clicking on the More tab located in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Then select Routing Profile.
Step 2: You'll see a list of all current routing profiles in your system. To add a new one, click on Add New Setting.
Step 3: Name your routing profile and enter the vehicle's height, weight, width, and length for the max weight. You can also adjust the axles and number of trailers.
Step 4: If your truck transports hazardous material, select the corresponding option. This will adjust the routing accordingly.
Step 5: Use the Avoid areas feature to add areas you want to avoid. Click on Add Avoid Areas.
Step 6: Name the area you want to avoid and click Save.
Step 7: Click on the map and then click Add. A red square will appear.
Step 8: Resize the square or change it to a polygon if needed. After setting this, click Apply Changes.
Step 9: You can add preferred lanes by selecting specific routes for drivers. Add waypoints on the map and hit Save.
Step 10: Assign this routing profile to specific groups. Once completed, hit Save.
Step 11: Your new routing profile will now appear in your Routing Current routing Profile list.
To edit a previously created profile, right click on the Action button on the right hand side and click Edit. To remove a profile, click Delete.
