Custom Last Mile Routing

After a custom POI has been added, you can then add the last mile routing for the entrance and exit to each facility. This will adjust the drivers turn-by-turn navigation to guide them directly to entrance for the facility as well as give them direction on how to exit.

Start by locating the POI you want to edit from the corresponding group. Once located, click the ellipsis and then "edit".

Next, click on CUSTOMIZE LAST MILE on the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Add an entrance by clicking + ADD ENTRANCE, a small green icon will stick to your cursor for you to place exactly where you would like the trucks to enter into the facility. It will be placed onto the map after you click.

Below the Entrance LAT/LONG, you will now see + ADD ROAD PATH or + ADD OFF GRID PATH. A "Road Path" will be directions from an actual road available from our mapping layer. "Off grid path" means that you can create a path for the truck to travel where there is no mapped road from our end.

When you select + ADD ROAD PATH, another icon will stick to your cursor, once placed, it will generate the most efficient route to the entrance you mapped previously. If needed, you can click and drag the route to have it follow a different path than what was automatically generated by our system.

When you select + ADD OFF GRID PATH, you can place multiple points on the map that will eventually route to the entrance you created previously.

The same rules apply for adding the exit, the only difference is that the path will be leading away from the facility.
