Sending Routes to Trucker Path from Samsara

Introduction

We’re going to walk through the steps to push routes from your Samsara portal to Trucker Path.

Prerequisites

• Your Samsara account has already been linked to your Command account
  Guide: Connect your ELD to Command
• The driver has already been added to your command portal

Summary

Configuring your Command

1. Log into your Command portal
   
   

2. Navigate to ELD

   

3. Ensure your Samsara is integrated, if not follow this guide

   
   
   

4. If you assign routes to a truck click Trucks:
   1. Click Assets
      
      
      
   2. Navigate to To Connect --> Select the trucks you want to connect --> Click Connect
      
      
      
   3. You can check the Connected tab and confirm that your truck(s) has been connected.
5.  If you assign routes to drivers click Drivers:
   1. Click Drivers

   2. 
      
      

   3. Select → To Connected
      

   4. Find the your driver and click Connect Driver in Command

      
      
      

6. Select the Driver and click "Save”

   

Creating a Route in Samsara

1. Let’s open up Samsara

2. Find “Dispatch” then select “Routes”

   
   
   

3. Click Create New Route

   
   
   

4. Enter all the details for the route (Use Vehicle if you assign routes to Assets)

   

   IMPORTANT: Assign the correct driver/vehicle to the route

That’s it! The route will be sent to your driver via the Trips tab in the Trucker Path App.
